I found "Cab Log" by Dege Legg in the library and I'm reading it for the second time before returning it. It's about being a night shift cab driver in Lafayette, Louisiana and giving rides to prostitutes, crackheads, alcoholics, crazies, a very memorable one-armed man, and even some gold nuggets of humanity here and there. I really like his writing style and highly recommend it, and now I'm hungry for more books like this.
Really enjoyed your suggestions on my last post – I myself work a night shift job with stretches for reading books so I appreciate all your feedback! Y'all got some good taste.
