So I recently read through the Nemesis series by April Daniels, which inspired me to go back and re-read through all six books of the Dire Saga by Andrew Seiple, an obscure series of books about a Doctor Doom-like villain. A series which I only found because the author wrote crossover fanfiction of it with the web novel Worm.
Other similar series I also loved were the Reckoners by Brandon Sanderson, and the Please Don't Tell My Parents I'm a Supervillain books (though I'm not sure how these hold up now that I'm older).
I've loved this sort of genre for a while and I want to find more of it to read. I already looked at some previous posts on this sub and came upon Hench, which I read through in a single day.
Almost all of the books I listed feature (super)villain protagonists, or at least people opposing supers in the case of Reckoners and Hench. But that's not strictly what I'm looking for, Dreadnought and it's sequel feature a superhero protagonist (literally the Superman equivalent of the setting) and I immensely enjoyed them. So any similar suggestions are welcome!
