IMHO, the only interesting concept is that of imagined realities, although his claim that it evolved 70,000 years ago and not before or after is pure speculation at best.
The idyllic tranquility of the hunter gatherers contrasted with the wretchedness of modern life which is the central idea is worth reading along if you want to see the arguments clearly defined.
I recommend The Dawn of Everything by David Graeber.

The Dawn of Everything by Wengrow and Graeber is a much more detailed and nuanced look at early human history. It dismantles Sapiens quite frequently as being oversimplified and linear.
If you can handle dense books then this is what you should read instead.
