hi! so i've realized i really like steinbeck. i read of mice and men back in high school (about ten years ago) and enjoyed it. ive been getting back into reading the last year or so because high school and college really kinda killed my desire to do it for a long time even though i was a huge reader as a kid. am proud to say ive finished 16 books so far this year!
anyway!
i read cannery row and travels with charley the week after thanksgiving and loved them both (particularly the latter), so i started the audiobook of the grapes of wrath on friday and i'm about 2/3rds of the way through it now thanks to a weekend road trip. loving this one too.
i thought it might be cool to read all of his books, which may be an ambitious goal for me, but it'd be neat to say i've done it and i think it'll be fun. i know cannery row has a sequel and i'm excited to read east of eden as well, and i've picked up a copy of log from the sea of cortez. realistically i know i could wait on that one but i thought it would be fun to read another travel memoir about somewhere i've been before since i liked TwC so much.
sorry for long post but if in you've read all this and feel particularly passionate about a certain book of steinbeck's i'd love to hear about it, thanks friends
