So I’m a little behind on hitting my 52 book goal for the year. I don’t want to buy another book given I have loads in my library to read and want to make sure I don’t do what I usually do and go for a dense boi. I have some series on the go but most of what I have next are long books so trying to stay clear and return in new year. I’m a very quick reader but I just need to get my head of steam and find the interest out of the gate. So…
Here’s what I’m looking at that’s sitting in my kindle library:
Billy Summers (I’m a big King reader and this isn’t one of his denser ones so I think this is going to be read this year) for some reason it’s not made me want to pick it up and get stuck in. No idea why. Have it about 12 months now.
All The Light We Cannot See – have it ages, definitely want to read it but I don’t see it pulling me right in and allowing me to power through. Open to being told otherwise.
Lighthouse Witches – enjoy a bit of horror life, haven’t any experience of author. Worth a go?
Beneath a Scarlet Sky – heard great things, just need it to pull me in if I’m to make a good pace.
Station Eleven – a must read for me at some point given what I know about it. Will I get through it quick?
Prisoners of Geography – fascinated by it but non fiction often harder to feed the desire to consume at pace.
Mercy of the Gods – the new book from writers of the Expanse which is one of my faves. Not sure if I want to save it for when I’m on Christmas break in front of fire.
