Granted I haven't read any of those except Spring Snow, but they seem to match the concept of "definite love" that I'm looking for. Basically a great love story that takes what it does to the extreme, and there's a strong conflict. I excluded Anna Karenina and Madame Bovary since they seem to focus more on the clash between idealism and reality and try to depict a "grounded" version of it whereas I'm looking for something more schizo. Thanks for any recs.
(I'd also appreciate any recs for older girl / younger boy. Boy should be about 18-19, and the girl is between 24-30.)
