Something that’s weird but not confusing?

I want to read a book that would be classified as weird but isn’t confusing. A book I read that I think would fit this is Tender is the Flesh. The content of the book weird, wild, and unique (to me) but I still understood it. I don’t want the weirdness to come from being confused essentially. Any genre!
