TLDR: Please suggest me interesting/good books + add a clue about the book that describes it without giving away the title. 🙂
So, for Christmas I am planning to gift my wife 12 books (one each month in 2025) packaged with a choose-your-own-book type of thing.
My idea would be that each month (or after the last one was read) I'd present 4 clues about different books, and she would pick one, not knowing the exact title, only generally idea about it. The four books would comprise of books of very different style, genre and topic… So it doesn't get boring, and she may read something (hopefully something good…) that she would not purchase otherwise. 🙂
She (35F) likes a very wide range of things, some favourites are Outlander Series, Beartown, Project Hail Mary, Ken Follet books but also stuff from Meg Cabot, Jenny Colgan, etc. This year she read the Three-Body Problem (whole trilogy) as well, though she is not much into science fiction.
Please recommend me some books (1 or 4, or any number!) you think would be great fits + add a clue (description of a picture, a word or a quote…), of any genre or topic. Some books that you greatly enjoyed or are fond of, something that you think is a captivating book that could get someone to like let's say non-fiction, fantasy or sci-fi even if they don't usually read it. 🙂 (Books should not be depressing, overly serious, soul-shattering, murder hobo books otherwise could be anything.)
And I hope the list will be enjoyable next year!
