I love Garth Nix The Old Kindom series and just finished Terciel & Elinor. I've read all of them. If I liked those books, what other series would I like?
Definitely take a look at **Blaze of Glory**, by Michael Pryor. I loved Sabriel, and this book scratched that same itch while still being different enough to keep me interested.
There’s also Garth Nix’ **The Keys to the Kingdom** series, if you haven’t read that already, although it is quite different (and much stranger) than his Old Kingdom books.

You might get better results if you specify more about what you liked. My first recommendation would be Tamora Pierce’s Song of the Lioness for more fantasy worlds with high stakes, capable heroines, animal sidekicks, and charming but secondary romance. But if you liked the specific concept of necromancy more, I’d recommend Gideon the Ninth. Personally, I loved Lirael and Sam’s specific ‘sad loner introvert’ voice as a teen. More books that have that could be John Green, Donna Jo Napoli (specifically Beast and Zel), or Gregory McGuire’s Wicked
