my best friend is a history teacher and last year I gifted him books about / taking place in the world wars which are mostly historical correct / well researched. Those books were:
- The Century Trilogy, Ken Follet
- All Quiet on the Western Front, Erich Maria Remarque
- City of Thieves, David Benioff
- The Tattooist of Auschwitz, Heather Morris
This year I want to gift him books about the colonialism of Africa.
What are good books about that subject? Bonus points for books that cover the german history of colonialism.
