Hi, I'm looking for suggestions! 🙂 I would like to read a book where the main character (preferably a female one) gets cheated on and slowly goes insane or becomes unstable emotionally. I would like to read more books protraying what happens with the person who gets cheated on and how in some cases, it gives you very similar symptoms to PTSD. (PTSD from cheating).

In The Golden Cup, one of the main characters gets emotionally destroyed by knowing her husband cheated on her for her entire marriage. I read it a long time ago though and I feel like she forgives him and gets back together at the end. So if you won’t like that, then it’s not the book for you. There’s a lot of other characters’ stories in there too, including her son who goes insane knowing about the cheating and not being able to speak up.
