I’m looking for something to read that almost has the same deeper themes that are presented in Naruto, but don’t want Manga or any graphic novels. Thanks!
Any specific theme that you are looking for? It’s been awhile since I saw the series but as I recall, it covers a lot of different themes.
I recommend Akata Witch’s by Nnedi Okorafor. It’s Naruto, but in Nigeria with Nigerian folklore theme. It has young kids going under the tutelage of a wiser older person to work together to defeat a big bad. It’s YA so it doesn’t go too dark but the there are some internal struggles the kids have to kind of sort out.
