I have tried reading over the years, both fiction and non-fiction, but can never get myself to finish a book. Or pick a book that I can’t put down. It’s always forced.
I know the benefits to reading and want to find that book to start the journey just never have any luck. If this helps – I’m a husband, father, business owner, and an extreme sport enthusiast. Tips are much appreciated.

Extreme sport enthusiast? Check out Jon Krakauer! You might like Into Thin Air. I used to teach it to high school seniors, and many non-readers loved it.
Another nonfiction title I’d recommend is The White Darkness by David Grann, though any of his books might interest you. Dark Matter by Blake Crouch is a novel that might appeal to you as a dad/ husband, and just to throw in a cool sci-fi/ fantasy pick… The Fifth Season by NK Jemisin is a uniquely awesome read. I do hope you find something that you enjoy!
Try these 30 [most read books from around the world](https://readaroundtheworldchallenge.com/books), 5 from each continent. I am sure you will find a lot of them interesting.
If you like action movies you might try Clive Cussler Start with the Dirk Pitt novels, the ones that he wrote on his own.
Also Micheal Crichton is very good. The family favorite is Sphere. Such an awesome book!
