I was looking for something new to read and had The Kindly Ones sat on my kindle… I opened it up and it’s like 1000 pages long… I thought starting it might be a bit of a commitment so I had a nose on good reads about it, and it sounds a lot like Justine by Marquis de Sade… and I hated that, although it wasn’t the content I hated it was the endless droning on of every character she met, and with the Kindly Ones being so long, I’m concerned that it might be similar? Has anyone read it?
