really interested in books about political history of ireland-recently found out I have some direct family members who were involved in the molly macguires group and heard there might be some good books specifically about them as well! thanks!

Morgan Llywelyn has written oodles of books about Irish history. Some of the books are set recently (20th C) and some are very old Irish lore. If you are looking for Irish history, she’s your gal.
