Recently I've been reading Nova by Delaney and Aspects by Ford. Both feature characters reading Tarot or a system that looks a lot like the Tarot. I've also seen the I Ching used in The Man in the High Castle by Philip K Dick, and I know there's at least one LeGuin novel which features a division system. Thinking about the ways these authors use divination for character development makes me want to read more fictional works where divination features prominently in the plot.
The in-world divination can be explicitly supernatural, explicitly non supernatural, or ambiguous.
