Hello everybody. I'm looking for some horror books that have similarities to Blackwood and Machen's in terms of dealing with the occult, the mystical, and nature. Something else to note, I have already read The Twisted Ones by T. Kingfisher, and I did not like it very much. Having finally read The White People by Arthur Machen, the short story The Twisted Ones is based off of, I find myself disliking the novel even more. In my opinion TWO cannot hold a candle to The White People.
