My heart hurts and I want to escape but I typically read nonfiction and that’s not going to do it for me tonight.
I just finished watching Somebody Somewhere and would love more of that vibe. Also loved A Psalm for the Wild Built and its sequel, as well as The House on the Cerulean Sea. Recently read All my Rage and enjoyed that too. Other books I’ve loved: The Bean Trees by Barbara Kingsolver and Cavedweller by Dorothy Allison.
What can I read that will wrap me in a cozy blanket and make me feel held and hopeful?

in terms of hopeful books I love the ‘Positronic Man’ a great book on a robot’s journey to become a man also A Christmas Carol is a great short read but lots of fun and hope too.
“What you are looking for is in the library” is a very cozy, wholesome book. PSA, the house in the cerulean sea has a sequel! I’m so sorry for your loss
A Street Cat Named Bob is nonfiction but the coziest, sweetest book.
I’m so sorry about your cat.
{{The Book of Night with Moon by Diane Duane}}.
If secret cat wizards would help fill the hole…
