Books with, or featuring Dogs.

I’m trying to help my girlfriend get more in to reading, and she’s a huge fan of the Dog.

Any suggestions on books where Dogs are the main characters, have great characterisation or where people’s lives are impacted by Dogs would be very helpful.

Currently reading Nightbitch, just finished Three Wild Dogs.
