I'd like to create a "Books that are either about or include a lot of walking" Reading list.
I've included a small list to start:
-The Hobbit & The Lord of the Rings by J.R.R tolkien
-A walk in the woods by Bill Bryson
-Underland by Robert MacFarlane
-The Old Ways: Robert MacFarlane
-The sleeping Giant by Kazuo Ishiguro
-All Quiet on the Western Front by Erich Maria Remarque
-A Psalm for the wild built by Becky Chambers
-Two Old Women by Velma Wallis
I think that walking can be utilized in a lot of extremely creative ways in writing, whether for instilling a sense of introspection, for creating unseen horror, for isolating the reader or even as a means of grounding the reader in the world around them.
Is love to hear about some more examples of books with a lot of walking 🙂

Why is this flagged with spoilers? Is walking considered a spoiler? 😆
The Long Walk
The Kingdom By The Sea by Paul Theroux is one of my favourite travel books.
This looks like maybe you’re looking for fiction but these two would definitely fit your walking category.
Wild- Cheryl Strayed
The Long Walk- Slavomir Rawicz
