Hi, its my first time posting here. I have not read many books in this genre before. I am looking for good books in the setting of a high school in the US dealing with themes of growing up and transitioning to college/adult life. I want to get an understanding and a better picture of the life of a students and young adults in a mid-sized town in the early 2000s or late 90s. Even though I am looking for romance but if there are some other good books with the themes like growing up, friendships etc , I would be happy to know about them too.
