I’ve been enjoying books on geek culture and the history of hobbies, what should I read next?
I’ve recently read Generation Decks (which chronicles the history and culture of D&D), Of Dice and Men, Sid Meiers Memoir!, Game Wizards, and Blood Sweat and Pixels. I really enjoy reading personal stories and oral histories of games, game development and geek hobbies. Other books I’ve read or already on my list:
Not all fairy tales have happy endings (Sierra Online / Adventure games)
The Tetris Effect (Tetris)
It’s all a game (board games)
Press Start (game development)
Dice Men (Warhammer)
