Hi book lovers <3 I want to find a fantasy book with some romance that is easy to read and understand. Not to make myself sound dumb, but when i’ve tried to read fantasy previously I can’t keep up with the various creature names and certain locations. I end up getting confused and it’s hard for me to maintain focus on everything. I also have adhd so I already really have to try hard when reading lol. I have heard fourth wing is good and would be interested in reading that. Is that one pretty good for someone that is just getting into fantasy or should I start somewhere else? Open to all suggestions, thank you!

    1. Sarah Beth Durst’s two books are excellent at being high fantasy, but not getting too caught-up in their own worldbuilding! The Bone Maker is about a band of heroes who saved the world as 20-somethings, but have to come back together as adults because the necromancer they defeated may not be dead. The Spellshop is a Hallmark movie in book form: a librarian flees the capital when it erupts in violence, taking only a few crates of spellbooks and her magical plant, and arrives at the remote farming island she was born on.
