My 11-year-old daughter has developed a passion for reading over the past year. She has read an impressive 35+ books last year alone.
We would greatly appreciate some recommendations for middle-grade drama and coming-of-age fiction books (think Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants)
She prefers realistic and engaging stories without excessive magic or humor. Occasionally, she enjoys reading mysteries.

It sounds like your daughter might be above the reading level for the two books that I have to suggest, but I’ll put them here just in case. They were two of my favorite books as a kid growing up that fit your brief. I love recommending them.
