I love reading. And other from the obvious fact that reading is good, I can't stop to wonder if books maybe aren't that special. Books usually have around 200-500 pages some more, some less. But did you ever had a book suggestion about a book people told you about, you didn't read? I did often. Usually always.
People tell me how deep, emotional, strong and fearfully a book is. But when I look it up, look at the cover and read the description, I don't start reading it.
The cover doesn't look good and the description isn't in my interest. So I just don't read it. Even if it could change my whole life.
Poetry is short. But meaningful, emotional and deep. But I read poetry. Because its short and it holds everything a hook could hold and more.
And I say this as a reader.
So many people don't read books beacuse it is a long process and often. The story doesn't hold what we want.
Now I'm thinking if we as readers often don't even realise it.
We all judge books by its covers, but is this even a bad thing. How do you think about books and do you sometimes realise that reading is just….reading.

Reading has widened my perspective, helped me navigate humanity and relationships. Reading is a way to access other peoples minds, reading will always be more than just words on a page to me.

Poetry is a bit like a fart. Its quick and its over and you enjoy the quick sound it makes, and transient scent it creates. Books, are like a long piss on a winters day into cold virgin ice . The joy just lasts longer
Not every book is going to resonate with every person. Some books are literally life-changing. Some are just meant to relay information or to be entertaining.
Um to see it that way, books are books coz we needed to place the words and stuffs somewhere that was convenient, we could also have taken a big piece of cloth and wrote all the literature stuffs and carry it everywhere but i don’t think that’d be more convenient, books are just platforms, and all the stuffs inside are just thoughts from a person and reading really is just reading, long or short nonetheless.

Just because a book isn’t for you doesn’t mean it is a bad book. There are books for everyone.
