I've recently read Assange's book, which was a conversation by him and other cypher punk members, Cypherpunks: Freedom and the Future of the Internet. Another title that I really enjoyed recently is Tor: From the Dark Web to the Future of Privacy.
I've of course read Snowden's book in the past and other dystopian fiction books, BNW, 1984, We etc..
What are some other must read books on these topics? Thank you.

If you’re open to reading academic works, then check out stuff by [David Murakami Wood](https://www.surveillance-studies.ca/people/david-murakami-wood), [David Lyon](https://www.surveillance-studies.ca/people/david-lyon), [Kirstie Ball](https://www.surveillance-studies.ca/people/kirstie-ball), [Kevin Haggerty](https://www.surveillance-studies.ca/people/kevin-d-haggerty), and [Elia Zureik](https://www.surveillance-studies.ca/people/elia-zureik).
A few I recommend that I read doing research for a book:
* *The Art of Invisibility* by Kevin Mitnick
* *Ghost in the Wires* by Kevin Mitnick
* *Dark Wire: The Incredible True Story of the Largest Sting Operation Ever* by Joseph Cox
* *Cybersecurity and Cyberwar: What Everyone Needs to Know* by P.W. Singer and Allan Friedman
* *The Lazarus Heist: From Hollywood to High Finance: Inside North Korea’s Global Cyber War* by Geoff White
* *Countdown to Zero Day: Stuxnet and the Launch of the World’s First Digital Weapon* by Kim Zetter
* *Permanent Record* by Edward Snowden
Enjoy!
