Please suggest me books for a very smart 6year old girl who could be more confident and assertive. Something that encourages her to try new things, meet new people and speak confidently.
I am also trying few other things but given she loves reading so much, books with a few girl role models will be very handy. Cheers.

Mary Can! By Mary J. Blige
Maybe Matilda by Roald Dahl, although it might be long for a six years old, maybe you can read it together.
I also recommend Bianca Pitzorno’s books. She is an Italian author and she predominantly writes children stories with female characters. She is very prolific but I am not sure which of her books have been translated into English.
I cannot really recommend any book on confidence, but maybe you can find some good resources on the internet also ask your town/city librarian, they are very helpful and know their ways around books!
