I recently finished reading P.S. I Hate You by Lauren Connolly. I liked the whole premise of the book, basically that there was a task to be done and the book wasn't centered around the romance. (It was, but it wasn't, I don't really know how to explain it if you haven't read it.) I liked the humor of the main character. I don't really like lovey-dovey stuff, which is why this book was my first romance read. Does anyone have any romance book recommendations for me that might be similar?

I Capture the Castle by Dodie Smith is just an overall excellent book, period- romance is a big theme and element of the book, but it also has a lot of humorous moments and is really well written (I re-read it almost annually). It’s also quite cozy (nothing really horrendous or frightening happens) and not lovey-dovey I’d say.
If you want something very fun (and extreme) then anything by Jesse Kane is a blast!
