Hi, so I’m looking for books that are similar to “Alone With You in the Ether” by Olivie Blake and “Normal People” by Sally Rooney and the movie “Reality Bites.” I want romance that’s messy, it’s flawed, but it’s real. I feel like so many books show love in a romanticized way, (haha, get it) but I really want something that could actually happen to me.
