Pirated book recommendations!

Hello! I am aware that pirated books are illegal. But do you have any suggestions for books that are “okay” to purchase for reasons like:

1. The author promotes something that is bad or not good.
2. The author is cancelled or in a boycott list.
3. The book is still nice but buying it supports an author that should not be supported.
4. Other factors that makes buying the pirated version better than the original one.

Since books are expensive and I still want to read some of the books/authors that are generally “boycotted” or “cancelled”.
