As everyone know Christopher Nolan is making a movie on The Odyssey so I thought of reading the book but I found out it's in the form of poem. Is there any novelized version? I'm sorry but I am not good at poems. Really appreciate the help.

This is a book meant for kids but I really love it. Brief, to the point, and you’ll understand the story. Great artwork imo.

Quite possibly not what you’re looking for but the graphic novel by Gareth Hinds is too gorgeous to not recommend here
I would still recommend at least flipping through the Robert Fagles translation of The Odyssey. I read it as a freshman in high school and it’s a pretty easy and fast paced read. I think you’d lose a lot with a shorter, abridged version.
