I own too many books and I really wanna get emotional and connected at a book
The stuff that usually makes me emotional is more tender stuff, like family things, over tragedies (E.g I didn't cry reading A Little LIfe by Hanya Yanaghihara but I did at If Cats Disappeared from the World by Genki Kawamura)
here are the books!
Black Wings has my Angel – Elliot Chaze
White Nights – Fyoder Dostoevsky
Love in the Time of Cholera – Gabriel García Márquez
A Gentleman in Moscow – Amor Towles
A Million Little Pieces – James Frey
A Tree Grows in Brooklyn – Betty Smith
Augustus – John Williams
The Grapes of Wrath – John Steinbeck
Crime and Punishment – Fyoder Dostoevsky
Song of Solomon – Toni Morrison
The Bluest Eye – Toni Morrison
Sula – Toni Morrison
Out – Natsuo Kirino
Holding Up the Universe – Jennifer Niven
The Wife Upstairs – Rachel Hawkins
The French Gift – Kirsty Manning
Looking for Alaska – John Green
Revolutionary Road – Richard Yates
Snakes and Earrings – Hitomi Kanehara
Note: the only three pieces of media that have made me really cry is If Cats Disappeared from the World and the games Before Your Eyes and Outer Wilds.
