What books scratch the same itch as Twin Peaks or Gravity Falls?

I know they aren't the same, but I'm looking for something where they both meet. Lynchian, conspiratorial, supernatural, and the sense that something isn't quite right. It can be merely the vibe, or it can go hog wild and dive into the deepest depths of weird.
