I love books by the likes of Osamu Dazai, "No Longer Human", "SchoolGirl", another favorite is "Heaven" by Meiko Kawakami and I also liked "Notes of a Crocodile"
All these books are pretty "raw" and the people within them have wrong feelings and ideas, and of course everything ends up terrible. I'm looking for a raw book, like ones previously stated that have a kind of positive outcome?
I also enjoy straight up philosophy books, so I prefer if the book I'm reading has some kind of depth to it but, I just don't find that they usually turn out okay in the end.
So, simply looking for a raw book, with a very flawed protagonist where things end up alright in the and
(also, I prefer grounded books for the most part but I'm not opposed to fantasy)
