I (37F) only read thrillers and mysteries. Lately I've been kind of bored with this, feeling like I have forgotten the book and its characters after the last page is read. I want that feeling I had when I read Harry Potter as a teen – being transported to another world and really getting to know the characters and place.
Harry Potter is my all time favourite book series. I enjoyed watching Game of Thrones and LOTR. Can anyone suggest a book series for a fantasy newbie?
