Currently reading The House Witch and loving the cozy vibes. Please suggest other super cozy books. Would like a variety of different genres (but not cozy mysteries). Thank you!
The Long Way to a Small, Angry Planet by Becky Chambers. Cozy sci fi!
Legends and Lattes by Travis Baldree for cozy fantasy.

If you don’t mind a romantic subplot, **Someone to Build a Nest in by John Wiswell*

The Magician’s Daughter by H. G. Parry.
– it completely transported me back in time when fantasy books were a rare treat and a source of wonder and adventure. It is very classic fairy talesque story filled with wimsy and bittersweet longing. Standalone, and while it has a young heroine, it is more of a bildungsroman than standard YA.
The Whimbrel House series by Charlie N. Holmberg
– magical haunted house + relatable main characters. Set on Rhode Island, 1846.
Bookshops & Bonedust by Travis Baldree
– the prequel to Legends & Lattes 🙂

Oh, Delemhach, huh? Kraken might’ve seemed fiesty, but I kept thinking, “So cute!” I also love a variety of genres, too. That’s why I highly recommend 42 Stories Anthology Presents: Book of 42². It has 42 chapters including mystery and horror, but my favorite one was the Fight chapter. The 42 stories in each chapter were just 42 words, and I was shocked at how some of the writers pulled me in and spit me out, making me linger for more of their stories. So, I started making a to-read list of writers from that anthology. As there’s 1,200 of them, I will have a pretty epic library soon. Definitely recommend the anthology.
