Hi,
I’m curious about a book that’s (primarily) set on like a spaceship that’s intended more for like long-term travel with people awake and doing stuff onboard instead of sleeping the entire time. There could be like a main cast of characters, but there are people coming and going at different destinations, maybe disembarking for a bit for sightseeing/shopping before getting back aboard. So not like Alien where the crew got awoken early and aside from checking out LV426 the entire movie is set on the Nostromo, but something more like a cruise ship or a travel ship.
Obviously sci-fi. I’m mainly curious about the cruise ship-like setting, so it could be something super cozy. Or maybe it’s a murder mystery or there’s an alien virus going around. Something that gives that “life on a space vessel” feel that, because of the people coming and going and stops at different locations, doesn’t start to feel mundane and reinforces the space travel element.
