I am a student at university and study English as a Foreign language (I’m not in an English speaking country) and this semester I will have to study in English literature a book being a selected tales of Edgar Allan Poe (Oxford’s edition). I wanted to have other novels or short stories that could be an addition to this novel. Last semester we studied The Sublime and it’s use in gothic literature (The Romance Of the Forest by Ann Radcliffe was the novel) if that can be any help.
