Need help remembering the name of this book with agoraphobic female protagonist

I read this book 5-6 years ago so I don't remember the character names or the name of the book but here's what I do remember:

1. The book is told from two perspectives – a man and a woman
2. The female protagonist is suffering from agoraphobia and now that her mother died (I think), she has to slowly step out into the world.
3. She may or may not end up working at a book store
4. They form a relationship
5. This book is not part of a series

Has anyone come across a book that fits this description?
