I been a reader for 75 years. I’ve recently discovered that I really enjoy rereading series of books that I really loved in the past. It’s not that I don’t like some of the recent stuff, but there is a comfort, like meeting an old friend you haven’t seen for a while.
Do any of you feel the same way and do this also?

Yea, I love a reread. I started doing rereads while waiting for the next book in the series but it’s nice to visit these characters or books. Plus I usually find something new each time I read a book.
I reread all the time. I read very quickly and get through a lot of books as well as having an atrocious long term memory so will happily reread favourites. A couple of times I have got most of the way through a book before realising I had read it before. I was once really proud of myself for guessing the twist in the thriller until I figured out why 😂 StoryGraph is a godsend now!
I rewatch movies, and don’t see it as any different. However I totally get why people who don’t read as quickly would rather spend that time on new books. Or those with excellent memories!
