Hello, I'm looking for a new book to read, something engaging and interesting without crazy action or depressing themes. Some of my favorites are Let the Great World Spin, Constance, Chance, Jitterbug Perfume and most Tom Robbins, the Tales of the Otori series, most of Cormac McCarthy's work, A Psalm for the Wild Built, and some Octavia Butler. Most of what I like can be a bit dark, but I'm in a pretty depressed place and would like to find something less tragic. Any help is appreciated, Thanks
