I'm starting my book collection and want to focus on high-quality leather-bound editions. I'm from England and prefer British English wherever possible. If I buy books from Easton Press (a US-based publisher), will they use American spelling? It would be quite disappointing to spend £150 on a book only to find it doesn't match my preferences.
Is this a valid concern, or does the publisher's location not necessarily dictate the type of English used? Additionally, if anyone could recommend publishers in the UK that produce high-quality leather-bound books, I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance!
