I would recommend *Never Split the Difference* by Chris Voss (I just finished it earlier this month)
I believe it is both interesting and potentially practical, with each chapter offering real-world examples of high stakes negotiation events. Since it was written by an FBI negotiator, I think it could provide valuable insights while keeping the materials easy to digest.
