I just have to say that I don't like it when the plot changes completely because of the romance. I totally understand when it happens in romance books or similar, BUT IT CONFUSES ME WHEN IT'S NOT SUPPOSED TO BE THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IN THE PLOT. Sometimes it is important enough to change the main character, change their ideals, or their goals. I would just like to avoid that!
(I know, it doesn't always happen).
Leaving that aside,
¿What book left an impact on you?
The kind of book that when you finish it, you say: "…Wow". Not always because of happy endings or very pleasant emotions, but still an impact nonetheless.
