I was born with into a very religious military family that leans far right. Some of the books that really challenged my perspectives:
• Chickenhawk (such a good book on the senselessness of war & the dehumanization which occurs on both sides)
• Confessions of an Economic Hitman
• The Road to Unfreedom
Do you have book recommendations that shook up the way you see your country???

A Mind Spread Out on the Ground by Alicia Elliott really opened my eyes to how Indigenous people are treated in Canada.
Critical Thinking by Nel Noddings. I can’t ever look at grass and lawns the same way.
