I read a lot of horror and dark fiction, but I've been stressed and anxious lately, and I think I need to read something a little more fun. I'm not looking for a completely different genre or anything – still would like to read something a lil dark, a lil spooky, and a lil magical realism is always good. Hopefully I'm not asking for the impossible!
Books I have enjoyed immensely lately: How to Sell a Haunted House by Grady Hendrix, Craft: Stories I wrote for the Devil by Ananda Lima, Severence by Ling Ma, Our Share of Night by Mariana Enriquez, Black Sheep by Rachel Harrison, Bury Your Gays by Chuck Tingle.
