      I would recommend downloading the app Goodreads and looking at their lists as well as friends lists. I use that to curate my own want to read list. I aim for a book a week.

      Since you wanted series here are the first books of some series I have enjoyed:
      Fourth Wing;
      Beartown;
      Bad Monkey (everything my Carl Hiaasen is hilarious);
      Everyone in my Family Has Killed Someone;
      Deal Breaker (Myron Bolitar mysteries);
      Harry Potter;
      Dark Lover (Black Dagger Brotherhood..these are racy!)

    2. Here’s some series I have liked. All sci fi or fantasy:

      * The Culture series by Iain M. Banks. I recommend starting with The Player of Games. You can read the books in any order if you wish, but usually people find this one easier to get into than the others

      * The Dune series by Frank Herbert. I personally think books 1 and 2 form a good self-contained duology and you don’t really need to read the rest of it, but that’s probably a blasphemous thing to say, haha.

      * The Imperial Radch series by Ann Leckie

      * The Snow Queen series by Joan D. Vinge

      * The Fortress series by C. J. Cherryh

      * Three Parts Dead by Max Gladstone

      * The Red Rising series by Pierce Brown. Lots of people who don’t read a lot tend to like these.

      * The Hainish Cycle by Ursula K. Le Guin. You can also read these in any order. My favourites are Rocannon’s World, The Left Hand of Darkness, and The Dispossessed.

      * The Wayfarers series by Becky Chambers. You can read these in any order, but my favourite is The Galaxy and the Ground Within
