Gods of death

Hello folks

I'm looking for a good book or an encyclopedia of gods of death from around the world and different cultures throughout history.

So far I've seen two

Herman Dart
Gods of Death: An Encyclopedia of Death Deities

And

Ernest L Abel
Death Gods: An Encyclopedia of the Rulers, Evil Spirits, and Geographies of the Dead

But GoodReads reviews have been quite negative. I was hoping someone might have knowledge of some decent ones before I just go with these two. I suppose it's quite a niche topic.
