So I just read Sarah Kane's 4.48 Psychosis and nearly cried my eyes out. So I'm looking for books just like it.
In a way, Ottessa Moshfegh's My Year of Rest and Relaxation, The Bell Jar by Plath and The Catcher in the Rye by Salinger are also good examples of what I'm looking for. (Also, in a weird way, Dennis Cooper's The Sluts)
Basically the characters talking about how much life sucks, they have nothing to look forward to, everyone hates them, etc etc
Whether it's a novel, poem, autobiography, or something else, it doesn't matter as long as it fits the bill
Thanks in advance.

There’s an indie album called “A crow looked at me” that’s less a collection of songs and more of spoken word poetry about the singers wife who just died that barely even rhymes. It’s one of the most beautiful albums I’ve listened to but it’s so unbelievably depressing you definately need to be in a certain mood for it. Like it’s so raw and heavy it’s almost not even enjoyable even if you want to either listen to it or read the lyrics
You were thinking ahead to a future you must have known
Deep down would not include you
Though you clawed at the cliff you were sliding down
Being swallowed into a silence that’s bottomless and real
It’s dumb
And I don’t want to learn anything from this
I love you
