I’m not that intense, but Douglas Adams made me laugh a lot.

Any Jenny Lawson book. Especially if you like stories about losing your shoes while wearing them, couch etiquette, and magic squirrels in cereal boxes. This last story had me crying I was laughing so hard, it’s from the book “Let’s Pretend This Never Happened.”

Not that intense but The Good Luck Of Right Now made me laugh out loud a lot. The audiobook is great.

Jana DeLeon Miss Fortune series and Stephanie Plum series by Janet Evanovich are both laugh out loud light mysteries.
Flaming Iguanas: An Illustrated All-Girl Road Novel Thing by Erika Lopez – definitely not for everyone, but it made me laugh out loud until I cried.

“Hyperbole and a Half: Unfortunate Situations, Flawed Coping Mechanisms, Mayhem, and Other Things That Happened” By Allie Brosh
It’s a compilation of her blog that she originally started to avoid university studies, and is a
devastatingly funny look at depression, adhd, childhood and weird pets. If you struggle with any of those things, this book is for you. It’s actually single-handedly pulled me out of a depression slump, and made me laugh harder than any book. It’s not for everyone, but it’s so good.
